Abundant marine life exists in the waters surrounding southern Vancouver Island, home to the largest concentration of Killer Whales (Orcas) in close proximity to a large population centre. WildCat Adventures operates whale watching and adventure tours with an onboard naturalist. Trips operate yearly from May to September departing at 10.30am and 2.30pm. During the shoulder months of April and October, we have one trip daily, departing at 1.00pm. The WildCat whale watching vessel and the reservations office is located in Victoria's Inner Harbour at Pier 1234 - just below the Wharf Side Eatery and a short 5 minute walk from the Empress Hotel and the Tourism Victoria Information Office. Fully Narrated Whale Watching Tours The waters around Southern Vancouver Island are home to three resident pods of Orca (or Killer Whales). You can also see gray and humpback whales (in season) dozens of species of seabirds, playful Porpoises, Seals & Seal Pups, Sea Lions, the majestic Bald Eagles, Lighthouses and marine eco-systems.
